Happy Surgerversary to me!!! 6 yrs out

I just realized it was my surgery anniversary.  6 yrs about about now I was waking up and getting ready for the rest of my life.  During my first year, I met goal and kept going.  I actually have settled in about where I had set my goal, 135.  I've been hanging in about 132-135 for a couple of years now, trying hard to stay on top of it so I don't keep going up.  My low was 111 which was too low for me.  Even though I am only 4'11", I am square and solid with a large frame.  My % of fat hangs in around 25% and I am still off all meds.  My Dr is happy, I am happy.  Yeah, I would like to be 10lbs less like almost every woman in the USA but this is so much better than 100lbs more, lol. 

I can credit Roz, Gina, Linda and all the vets that were there for me.  And I plan on sticking around to help the newbees coming aboard.

Yes it is!!  I have to stop and think about how long it's been and when... I actually had to look at the date on my post - lol.  You're a week before me - so when I see you post I'll know :()

Life's been busy.  Mom had a stroke and I've been getting her squared away in a nursing home, for now.  She will come to stay with me for awhile after.  She's improving, but not fast enough to her liking.  

I do visit often.  The questions being asked I don't even REMEMBER the answer to anymore!!!  But I do get on daily.

Like JB1114 said - when we are doing good, we don't mind posting, when we're doing bad we tend to stay away.  I did gain... 25 lbs (not from my lowest but from where I was comfortable maintaining)... I've lost 20 of it.. so I'm a happy camper again in my "happy place".  If I lost another 5 it wouldn't break my heart...

hahaha...Originally I wrote 7 years but then I went back and looked at my Signature and found out it's going to be 8 years!!! I check out your FB sometimes and I never noticed in your pictures that you gained anything.  You look Great!  Getting 20 pounds off...That's Awesome!!!   Did you just increase your Protein to get the 20 pounds off?

I was thinking about your Mom last night and I thought oh my goodness I didn't even acknowledge what you wrote about her.  I'm glad she is well enough to want to get better.  That's a good sign.

My Mom has dementia and we put her in a home a year ago last March.  Hardest thing we've ever had to do.  I'm so glad your plan is to bring her to your house after she has approved enough.  Mom went straight downhill once we moved her.
