I'm going to be a light weight my husband is not

I will be starting out just barely the light weight criteria. I have exactly 100 lbs to lose. My husband has about half of his weight to lose nearly 200 lbs to lose. I know he will lose quicker than me when we start or even through the whole experience because he's a bigger guy and it seems to come off quicker for bigger people So I"m going to need a lot of support here that I'm not screwing up just because he loses 20 lbs when I lose 3. I am so excited about doing this with him. I've been so worried about him because he had a heart attack a few years ago when he was only 31 yrs old. That scared me to death but didn't put a dent in his way of eating or acting. I'm hoping that this surgery is the jump start both of us need. It helps me that I'm already eating vegetarian and trying to treat my body as it is... a temple. Being very careful what I put into it. Though I am far from perfect as seen in my coffee habits. I have to use less coffee in my daily routine and avoid the sweets. I guess that will be easier once I have the surgery because I'm one of the few ppl that the threat of having bad reactions to something keeps me from trying it. :D that's a benefit to this particular surgery. I'm three years out from my sleeve and I still don't drink anything with bubbles and I still don't drink after I eat. I think in the past three years I have had maybe four sips not whole bottles but four sips of soda. Lol. I don't pu**** I can't express how excited I am to have this surgery. This time of my life has been full of changes and positivity and I"m ready to add this to my list. I"m goig to see if I can talk my husband into joining OH because it is an amazing community and I love being here. I utilized OH when I had my last surgery. It was amazing. Hopefully he likes it as much as I do.  Thanks for listening to me babble. I'll be reading up on everyones posts and getting back into the community. Hugs and thanks for welcoming me back.

Welcome to our LW Board and Congrats on your upcoming WLS!!  That's exciting that DH is also having it.  You right he might lose faster than you since but you will get to goal faster.

I read your other post and I would definitely suggest getting some "GOOD" Whey Protein drinks since you don't eat much Protein.  I love the Syntrax brands.  You can buy a sample package on their website.  My main Protein is made by Syntrax.  It's Matrix Mint Cookie.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

I just ordered pure proteim powder off of amazon. Just got chocolate cuz there is so much I can do wiht just plain chocolate or vanilla. I stuck to chocolate because i'm not a big vanilla fan. I will fan out as time goes but for now i'll stick to meat and potatoes lol so to speak.

I second Roz on Syntrax and getting samples.  After surgery your taste will change and likely everything you once loved will be too sweet, salty or just plain strong tasting.  It helps to have a variety around to try.

Congrats and keep us posted.
