going thru the beginning fazes of surgery
For us, we had to fill out a very long questionnaire then the psychologist discussed our answers with us. It lasted about an hour and I just wore something like I would wear to any Dr appt. It was all very friendly and warm. They want you to have the surgery, that is how they make money. However, they do want to see who may have issues like eating disorders, etc that would complicate the weight loss and their health. They are also looking for commitment and compliance to the many many rules that will apply to you after surgery. I think everyone is a little concerned but it is a very simple meeting and shouldn't be difficult unless you have issues.

It should be the least of your worries. As Price mentioned, they want you to have the surgery but have a legal and moral obligation to verify it won't create a bigger issue for you.
Your about to undertake a lifetime commitment with profound changes in your life. That is a much more important area to focus your attention.
Congrats on your decision to better your life!!!
I was nervous too but it was just like the other posters said.
My Guy also wanted to be sure that this was my decision and no one was forcing me to do it.
