Are you taking your measurements? Sometimes we lose inches even when we are not losing pounds. Hang in there!!

I'm not taking measurments but need to get a soft measuring tape when I go out shopping for groceries and begin doing that. I'm beginning to wonder if my crystal lite could be slowing weight loss ? I know I was a slow loser before surgery. I went on a 1200 calorie diet with under 20 carbs a day and it took about 13 days to lose 1 lb . I just figured after surgery I'd drop a little quicker. All I can do is stick it out and keep chugging along. I see my dr Tuesday .... I guess I'll see what his reaction to my slow loss is

revisions typically lose slower. How many calories are you eating now?

700-900 calories right now , at first I was trying to follow dr rules of getting 1000 but dropped it down to see if that would help.... 50 or less carb minimum of 65 proteins and 60-100 ounces water.

The Crystal light always prevented me from losing weight. I don't think it's a bad drink option, but it seems like a high fluid retention drink.

up your protein.  I  keep my protein around 100-150  even now.  I do crystal light and I  have never thought it affected me.

I'm wondering how to increase my protein without adding calories . How do you get in 100? Thanks in advance

Especially early out, there was no way to do it without protein suppliments.  I get about 30 grams in my protein coffee (decaf "creamed" with protein) then had a protein supplement mid morning and mid afternoon.  These days I mix them at 1/2 scoop but early out I used a full scoop, so 23g more x 2, then a protein shake after supper, another 23+.  The all my meals were protein based.  Now I can eat more so I use 1/2 scoops on my drinks in the morning and afternoon.  I find I still need this much to keep my labs up where they need to be.  I use Syntrax protein so it is 100 calories and 0 carbs for most scoops.
