WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning LW's!!! We are having a Retirement Party at work today. We only have 7 employees and 1 is retiring and 2 put in their notice. Director is panicking! He did offer one a raise to stay and she said she would stay until he found someone to replace her. It only pays $11.00 an hour to start which is a killer for any one with any skills.

Hi Roz! Just wanted to drop in and say HI! I'm around, checking OH almost every day.
I have lost 15 lbs of my regain - and would like to see another 5 off. I know I can do it! I feel SO much better. It's fantastic getting back into my shorts/jeans/dresses that didn't fit me last year. That won't put me at my original goal, but I'm ok with that. I think that was too low to start with.
Life is treating me well and I promise I'll stop by more :)

Great to hear from you Jody!! I'm soooo glad you are doing so good! I worry about the LWs that we haven't heard from.
You were looking good on one of the last pictures I seen on FB (I don't get on much). I've been struggling getting on OH for awhile now. 2 People quit at work recently and I've been doing double duty plus training the new girl that they just hired from when my Manager quit in October!

Oh dear.. I do get on often - I just don't always post, but I do read (yep - one of those lurkers again). I hope work gets better for you!
It's easy to go away when you've had regain - it's an embarrassment issue - I have lost most of my regain and have about 3-4 more lbs to get to where I want to be. It won't be my goal weight, which is ok - This is a healthier weight. This means my clothes are fitting again with some being a bit baggy :) I'll never be a 4 again, but I can live with 6/8.
Thanks for the nice words! If I exercised I'm sure it would be even better... but I don't.

My eats today have been great. Yesterday was DH's birthday so I made him a Red Velvet Cake. I left several pieces for him to share with the staff at the rehab center. The rest is in the freezer. I've never been much for cake and I definitely don't need it now. He was able to go out for lunch yesterday. His dismissal date was supposed to be July 7th, but we talked to the social worker yesterday and requested he be dismissed this Friday. He can take care of himself and is able to walk with the walker. He walks around in his room without the walker. He is looking forward to better food at home.....LOL
B - Premier Protein shake (30 g) - not my favorite but I need to use it up.
L - Click/1/2 scoop Unjury with Fairlife milk (31 g)
S - Power Crunch protein bar (13 g)
D - Beef/Pork grilled burger; cole slaw

What has helped me was getting rid of the grazing. I'd get bored, go looking for food. I don't even keep snacky stuff in the house, but could always find popcorn, cheese, etc.
My eats today (that I know of).
B - coffee w/creamer
L - bacon - I had to put it in the fridge or I'd have eaten the whole thing!
S - cucumbers soaked in vinegar/onions (yum)
D - something with hamburg. Not sure what yet
Vits: yes
Water: I'm working on it!
