WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Today I've felt better than I have for 3 weeks. I've been feeling really anxious but I'm feeling more positive now that DH is doing so much better. He is improving each day. DH loves yard work and I detest it. I've been keeping everything watered but this morning I spread mulch. DH had several bags and was planning on mulching everything. That mulch is nasty stuff, damp and full of stuff.
I got a lot of mulching done but it was getting so hot and perspiration was coming down my face. I'm hoping it will cool down and I'll finish the job. I think we need to live in a maintenance free place.
B - Click/Unjury shake
L - Egg Salad; thin bread
S - Quest bar
D - Chicken; corn on the cob - first meal I've cooked since DH was hospitalized

Moving mulch is one of my least favorite things to do. It looks nice once done but itbis really hard. Glad you are doing better. Hopefully he can come home soon

Glad to hear that DH is improving and you are calming down a little.
I always help DH do our mulch but I would never attempt it without his help. We usually get 2 pick up truck loads. It's nice clean mulch but a lot of work. I'd have to pay someone to come in and do it. We did stone in the front of our house so now we only have a few weeds to pull. I don't like it as well but it doesn't have to be replaced every year. I won't give it up in my flower gardens in the back though. That would be too hard to replant when things don't survive.
Sounds Good!
