WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning LW's!!! I didn't do to bad at the grad party last night. Avoided all of the cookies but I had them cut me a tiny sliver of cake. Ate a hamburger with no bun and a couple bites of pasta. Hopefully today won't be a challenge. I know they are having chicken so I will start with that.

Stress is getting me down. Hubby is in the care center for rehab, but not doing well at all. He has severe pain in his neck that goes into his head. They are giving him meds for pain, but it's not solving the problem. No doctor comes in on the weekend, but the nurse said they are in contact with him numerous times. Hubby is so groggy and I'm sure it's the pain meds. I'm going to ask tomorrow what time I need to be there to talk to the doctor on Monday. I'm wondering if DH has a pinched nerve. He is also doing a lot of jerking. His arms and legs jerk uncontrollably. He had a little of that starting last Wednesday and Thursday he woke up with the neck pain. I'm wondering if they are related.
Last night I started nibbling on Annie's cookies. They are sold in the health food section and as a serving they're ok, but me and the dogs ate way too many. The sugar kept me awake last night.
