almost to onederland
I went to the Dr and had my stitches removed today. I am healing nicely. I can't believe I am one of the lucky ones who has had a good recovery. I weighed in at 201 at the DR. I was hoping to be in onederland, but cant complain. I know it will be here soon. I started at 218 on my pre-op diet, wieghed 211 at time of surgery, but then jumped back up to 218 after surgery. I am faithfullly following my diet instructions. Everything has gone well except one time I tried to drink a protein shake to fast. I felt nauseous and sweaty, but felt fine after lying down for about 30 minutes. If anyone is nervous about going to Dr Quiones in Mexico, I would recommend him.
Congratulations! Sounds like you're doing great!

Congrats on your WLS!!! I wasn't able to find out what kind of surgery you had. I'm thinking since you dumped on a Protein drink you might have the RNY. I did see where at one point a long time ago you were thinking about the sleeve. Would you mind going to your home page and putting it in your information or in your signature.
I'm glad you had a good experience in Mexico. Most have our posters have been very pleased with the outcome.
Usually everyone gains when they come home from surgery because of the excess fluids and bloat. You should notice the numbers coming down on the scale soon.
Keep us posted!!

I'm not good on the computer either. It was much easier to find things before they made Improvements....LOL.
