WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!!   I've had a BAD couple of weekends and it showed upon the scales today!!!!!  Back to reality!!!!!

My husband is still hospitalized and is worse than when he went in.  The blood clot is dissolving they assume.  His knee that was replaced a year ago is the problem now.  There is blood on the knee and it will eventually drain, but it will take time.  He will probably need to go to rehab.  He is on narcotics and he is a totally different person.  He is argumentative, cranky and difficult to be around.  Today was just awful.  I'm trying to focus on healthy eating.  Ideas tempted to stop at Culvers for a butter burger but I knew I would regret it.  I came home and made Cowboy Beans, a bariatric recipe.

B - oatmeal with walnuts, few raisins

L - Click/Unjury shake

S - Luna bar

D - Cowboy Beans with cheese

S - protein shake

Culvers butters the bun that the burger is on.  In my old life I loved their burgers but now I wouldn't be able to eat the bun.

What is a diseased cck?

I'm so sorry your husband is having a rough time.  Those narcotics can really do a number on a person once you've had them a few days.  Hopefully they are giving him lots of clear liquids.  I usually try to fight the pain because I don't do well on them at all.

It looks like you did good today which is awesome for as much stress you are probably under....(((HUGS))).
