WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!!   First day of June.  It makes me happy but sad too because Summer goes so fast that waiting for it to come is like wishing it away.  No big plans for us this summer.  We haven't opened our pool for a few years because it needed some work done it but since DH has retired he decided this is the year to get it fixed up and ready for the grandkids. They are super excited!!

My summer plans aren't fun, but necessary. I'll be spending the summer with my sister and brother in law in Illinois. My brother in law just got some bad news and she'll need me more than ever.  I plan to stay as long as I can.

Normally, I'd be outside maintaining the pool and swimming with the grandsons, but more pressing matters..

Menu-

1 premier protein - chocolate.

8oz water with syntrax fuzzy navel.

8 oz bone broth with 1 scoop unjury chicken.

And finally... Puréed foods!

Today i'm having 1 tbsp salsa chicken with 1 tbsp avocado.

(Salsa chicken = 4-6 chicken breasts, sprinkled generously with taco seasoning and topped with a large jar of medium salsa. Bake or slow coo****il tender.)

I absolutely love Boar's Head Braunschweiger. I was just telling my husband last night how I was looking forward to soft foods in 2 weeks so I can have it again. So jealous of your lunch! (Although I won't be allowed broccoli for quite a while)

I didn't eat it for ages because it is pretty fatty and processed but I love it and can justify it now for the iron.
