WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Good morning! We're supposed to get rain every day this week.....yuck. I made Eggface's recipe for an Apple Bread. Very good!

Still working on the same recovery menu as before, but starting today I get to add some protein. Yay!
1 - 20oz bottle of blue Gatorade.
1 - 8oz Boost high protein
1 - 8oz Ensure high protein
1 - 11oz premier protein
+ Sipping water to total 90oz fluids.
i usually sip 5oz per hour and put the boost+ensure+premier in the g-tube. I'm not up to drinking that much yet i also crunch on ice chips for the heck of it I'm sure I'm getting more than 90oz.
On the bright side, my JP drain comes out tomorrow, can't wait!! (No more nasty gatorade)

I know that you are following your dr's protocol but never in my 8 years on this board have I seen Gatorade, boost and ensure for anything much less RNY. Just amazed!!!
