WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!! We ate really late last night so we decided Oatmeal would be best instead of eating a lot of heavy food before bed. We have new carpeting ordered so we are painting...yuck!

I expect today to be icky, but I'm going to do my best to keep my mind off the process and just get through it.

Started the morning with Syntrax Fuzzy Navel. Light breakfast around 10am will be diced peaches in fruit juice with a light and fit greek yogurt. I have a few boxes of green jello and a couple of quarts of chicken broth ready for later.

I plan to spend most of my day packing my things for the hospital, sanitizing the bathroom and putting my post-op things in an orderly fashion in my personal pantry so my husband doesn't have to think too much when we get home.

I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

Sounds like a plan!!!

You might want to grab some SF popsicles too.  I remember having DH stop on the way home to grab some.

We were on clear liquids the day before surgery and I was soooooooo hungry.  I was happy my surgery was early because I didn't want to wait long the day of.

Have a great day today and tomorrow will come and go.  Have a great surgery and a boring recovery.  Let us know how you are doing.  You are about to begin the rest of your life.

Hang on!  It's a wild ride.
