WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Missed you All!!!! Had a great weekend with our DD's and 3 of the grandkids. We took all 17 teams to the competition so we were a busy family. Our oldest DD bought a fitbit and on Saturday she walked 30,000 steps!!!!! Walking to meet teams, warm up teams, jumping up and down during the performances, taking each team to awards, checking score boards and on and on. DH said we walked all of that plus chasing after our youngest DGS and all of trips to the food court and hotel getting our busy DD's food, drinks, or whatever they needed. I did amaze myself at one point. I didn't want to wait for the escalator so I ran up two sets of stairs as fast as I could to watch a team without even a break or heavy breathing (I'm not a runner or walker) this 62 yr. old must have been very determined. Oh...and I still missed the team.....LOL!
