Sunday Weigh In March 20, 2016
Last week 133
This week 132
Hurray. One more pound gone. I have a trip this week to a show. I'll get plenty of walking but it also means less control of my food. The family I stay with when in Aiken has been on a diet lately so that is helpful. We'll see what next week brings? I haven't been below 132 in a very long time.

Congratulations Price!! I need some inspiration.... I am starting the 5DPT today. I made 2 of the soups, the Ham & Cheese and the Low Carb Pumpkin & Sausage - I did substitute Butternut squash for pumpkin but it said that was acceptable. I tasted them after making them yesterday and they were both really good. I told DH he would like one of them but he probably won't even try it.
Did you still do your protein coffee? I did this morning so hope I haven't already messed up.
I was 147.5 this morning (144.5 yesterday morning). I did not eat enough to gain 3 pounds so I'm hoping it is water because of too much sodium yesterday.

I think those were the 2 soups I made also. I really liked the ham and cheese and the other was fine too. I did still do my protein coffee as my protein for the morning.
It is so frustrating for me when I go up like that and I know there is no way I have eaten that much. I have been pretty stable at 132 this week and was happy to be there this morning.
I lost 5 lbs over the 5 day, then went back up 2 immediately (137 to 132, then back to 134) but it gave me a good start to head back down.
Hang in there. I actually thought the worse part was deciding to do it. It really wasn't bad once I started.

Last Sat I managed to see 127 on the scale.. That lasted a day.I have added new workouts to my routine so I think that is causing me to see some major weight fluctuations. I also have to admit my eating hasn't been on point. I usually start out good then end up bad. I never go over my calorie goals for the day, but the carb monster is bad and I am trying not to get too upset with myself. I realize that a lot of the weight gain I am seeing is fluid from the carbs/sodium and also from my sore muscles retaining fluid. But it is still a little discouraging. I am thinking maybe I need to stay off the scale until next Sunday. BTW I am up a whopping 10 pounds from last Sat, so I know that it's not actual weight gain when I eat less than 1200 calories a day.
Tomorrow is a new day and the start of a new week. I will get this under control.
My workout schedule is:
M&W Cardio Kickboxing and HIIT training
T&Th Self Defense at school and I just recently started Spin
Friday- thinking about adding a 30 min weight training class plus maybe some cardio. Not sure about this because I usually do school work on this day, too.
Anyways- I listed all that because I think that would explain some of the excess fluid retention. That was all done this past week and on this Friday I did do the weight class.
Hope you all are doing great, it's been a couple of weeks since I have been on.

Have stopped losing pounds but am losing inches!
I do think I retain fluid, swelling, after muscle pump and although I don't anymore, lots of women say they gain at the TOM. could that be part of it too?
I hate it that I bounce around so much. Sometimes I have no clue as to why. I do know that I seem to bounce up a lot more easily than I bounce back down.
I also know that I can stick to the same calories and gain with carbs and hold or lose with no carbs (very limited, not really no carbs).
Hang in there, it will even out.

The scale finally moved! Weighing in at 154.1 pounds this morning.

I think I am going to stop posting my daily diet here. It takes way too long to format and it still comes out mucked up. It isn't worth my time anymore.
