Menus and Miles Thursday March 17th
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Happy St. Patrick's Day LW's!!! Stopped this morning and got DGD a donut before school but I stuck to my menu and didn't even have a bite!! Main office sent us each an Easter goodie bag and I'm fighting the PB cups urge. 2 challenges even before I started work!!!! So far I've been successful so I thought if I post this I will try even harder the rest of the day.

The lower carb I stay, the easier it is to resist candy. DH always has some in the house and I have to pretend I just don't care, lol.
Drove Teke then loaded the trailer to head to a farm tomorrow for a long drive and set up for the weekend. Our club has a clinic day on Saturday that I am responsible for. At least I will be home each night.

I have to put sweets out of my reach like on top of the fridge. I'd have to physically climb up on a chair to reach it....LOL.
Sounds Good Price!!!!

Recovering from the flu... as every year, it's the one that isn't covered by the shot... I don't know why people bother with the flu shot, honestly.
As for food on Friday:
B: Hardboiled egg (7 grms)
S: Cheese stick (7 grms)
L: Chicken Soup (homemade with chicken protein broth, chicken pieces, spinach and lots of garlic and onion) (9 grms)
S: Premeir Protein Shake (30 gms)
D: 2 oz Grilled Pork Chop, (8grm) and Steamed Broccoli (a couple of bites)
Total protein: 61 grms
I'm allergic to soy, so most processed foods and protein bars are off limits to me but my surgeon is very happy with my progress.
I've only ever had the flu a couple times (during 3 pregnancies) in my life so I've never gotten the flu shot. It's very rare for me to get sick with anything.
I really like your menu! You have a variety of good protein. If you could add one more Protein drink in I think it would be perfect. I'd like to see you over 100g.
I have trouble with soy too and I'm not a believer in Protein Bars. Way to many carbs!
If you like nuts there is one I bar I use and it's delicious! It says it may contain soy ingredients but I've never had any trouble with it. Even at 7 years out I still have to watch my sugars or a I dump and it has only 7g per bar.
