WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!!   I couldn't get on to the OH this morning and that was a bummer.  I thought I wasn't going to get to post before we left this morning.  Off to Church and then to watch the 7 yr. old play basketball.

Rainy yesterday and today here. I'm just so happy it's not snow.  Going to Columbus this weekend for a cheer comp and sometimes it snows and we have to spend an extra night. This year we should be good and I won't have to take a vacation day on Monday.

Looks like a Great Protein Day!!

I take VSL#3 DS, it's a powder and it's prescription. You can get the capsule variety over-the-counter without a prescription at the pharmacy, it's kept behind the counter and in the fridge. It's got a really high probiotic count so you won't need more than a capsule or 2 at a time and maybe only twice a day. I take the powder and I only need 1/2 teaspoon in the morning and a 1/2 teaspoon in the afternoon.

I am struggling to get back to a mostly vegetarian diet. I feel better when I don't eat meat.

Breakfast Genepro protein powder, 1 scoop Coffee with half & half   Lunch Antipasto salad   Dinner Homemade chicken and vegetable soup   Snack 2/3 Atkins - Cookies & Cream shake Genepro - protein powder, 2/3 scoop     Calories 773   Carbs 22g   Protein 76g   I had to edit this because I posted it before I was finished eating for the day but then I didn't eat everything I had planned to.

I feel so full after I eat meat.  I really like meat so I usually spread a piece over the day. The only meat I can sit and eat is very thin pork chops.  They seem to settle pretty good in my pouch.
