WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
It's Friday LW's!!!!! Just sitting here enjoying my second Protein drink and catching up with you all. DD's don't have any competitions tomorrow so we are celebrating DH's birthday. He has himself all pumped up to retire on April 1st. I hope everything goes smoothly!!! Me...I'm a little worried how he is going to handle being home all day. He really likes the guys he works with. In the evenings or if he's off on sick leave or vacation they are constantly calling each other. He's the old guy on the crew and the character of the bunch. The crazy stories he comes home and tells me every day. I think he is going to be extremely lonely but with his body can't take the physical work anymore.

Hopefully he will find a hobby or volunteering or something to keep him busy. DH liked to golf but between his stroke a few years ago and COPD, he is limited in bad weather. He will sit and read and nap for hours and never move. I get him to the gym a few times a week but he usually won't go if I don't. Even when they have health issues, it is so important to keep moving.
I had a meeting this morning now have a little work to do then am heading to Ga for a horse trial to volunteer. I will check back in with everyone on Sunday night or Monday.
