WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Afternoon LW's!!!  Today is my DH's birthday.  Planning on going out to eat somewhere but because it's a Friday night and restaurants are crazy in our little town on Friday's we might have to hold off until tomorrow. 

Maintenance 7+ years

Breakfast: 

Protein:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:     Scrambled Eggs

Snack:     1 Babybel lite cheese round

Lunch:      Soup

Protein:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:     Laughing Cow Lite Swiss and 6 Saltines

Dinner:    Eating out???

Snack:     3 TB's Popcorn with a little salt and oil

Hi Roz,

Happy Birthday to your DH!!  I finished my DGD#1's cake and have started on a simple birthday cake for a lady at our church.

We are going out tonight with the Retired/Almost retired Firefighters.  We try to get together about every two months.  It is a really fun group.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  Low Carb Tortilla, egg, cheese
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D:  Probably Steak, Salad

Vitamins:  Done except one more calcium
Water/Fluids:  70 ozs so far
Miles:  None yet - probably going for a short walk in a little while.

When DH retires I hope he keeps in touch with some of the guys.  I know when he is off they call him constantly and I can tell he really likes them.

I'm glad you started adding your Protein drinks again.  It will help make up for your "baking" days...

We have to adjust to the crowds around here all the time. It does get old but you start to look for little mom&pops that the crowds haven't discovered yet. Happy B-Day to your DH.

Most of our little places have all closed down since the "name brand" restaurants have moved in and taken over.  We have one about a mile from our home that has great breakfasts and the rest of the food is fried and terribly greasy.
