Menus and Miles Thursday Feb. 11th

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Morning LW's!!!  2 hour school delay because of snow.  We had a few delays earlier in the year because of low temperatures but the first one for snow....not bad for the 2nd week of Feb. here in PA.   I think I better have another Protein drink to help with the carbs I'm having today.... 

Maintenance 7+ years

Breakfast:  1/2 a cinnamon roll....shaky and regretting it

Protein:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:     1 babybel lite cheese round

Lunch:     The rest of yesterdays Beefaroni

Protein:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:    

Dinner:   Not Sure...have the 3 boys tonight

Snack:     3 TB's Popcorn with a little salt and oil

Real cold and snowy here today too. Having a real rough food day. Think it's a combination of not sleeping well the past few nights and dealing with my parents is getting to me. Time to stop the insanity!

b protein coffee, coffee withs skim and sweetener. About 1/2 cup of grapefruit protein banana muffin

s tuna salad with crackers

l pasta and beans at my mom's. Took them shopping homemade brownie with walnuts

S  handful of peanuts, a handful of potato chipset, handful of red grapes

D 1 cup chili

vites 2 out of 4 batches

fluids 48 oz

miles  getting on the treadmill now  3 miles

We all have those days (weeks).  Do your best and except it.  If I get upset over a bad day then the day just gets worse.

Never got to 38 here but I braved it and drove Teke.  Everything was ok but my fingers and cheeks.  If we are going to compete in late March, we have to keep driving.

I will be 6 months post op on the 17th. I am learning as my appetite comes back to make good choices. If I eat good protein and drink lots of WATER...I am satisfied...I do not want to snack. I have to get tha****er in....A MUST FOR MY SUCCESS

Sounds like you have a plan for success!!!!  I've never tried the Premier but I might grab one to see how they taste.  Lots of mixed reviews and I like to try things my self.
