Menus and Miles Monday Feburary 8th
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Happy Monday Morning LW's!! We had an awesome weekend. We took 15 teams to the competition and came home with The Grand Champion Trophy, 13 firsts and 2 seconds. I watch the teams and I am soooo Proud and Amazed of our DD...! She's giving the 2 teams who came in 2nd (2nd time for them) new routines this week. DH got a heart monitor on this morning. He said his heart hasn't stopped having extra beats since they put it on him. We go Wednesday for the results.

The Monitor comes off tomorrow. I took the morning off so I could go to his appointment.

Sounds like a good Protein Day!!

I'm looking into a way to be able to stand but the cubes are pretty small, so we'll see what can be worked out.

Never heard of it around here. But what a nice idea. My IDD son went to a few proms when he was younger and State Special Olympic always has a big dance that he loves going to. My DH sponsors a Special Needs Bowling League and they have a few dances every year, but no formal ones. All the folks love it. I'll have to have him look it up. I bet they would love getting all dressed up. And I am sure your cake will be spectacular.
