Menus and Miles Friday Feb. 5th
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
It's Friday!!! My scales finally moved up this morning to the bottom of my comfort range. This does not upset me in the least. Except for Dinner and NOT having a Brownie basically my menu is the same. I do so much better when I don't have to decide what I'm going to eat every day.

Good morning fellow RNY-ers!
I get in food ruts as well. I try real hard not to, but my job is kind of an "eat on the run"...so to prevent that, lunch is usually the same! But, yesterday, I had a visit form family and actually went out. I do not like to eat out most of the time as I feel it is a waste of $$$ and they never cook it like I like it.
B- coffee (SF latte from the store) as it was cold out. I did not wake up in enough time to fix my own. '
S- Power Crunch Bar
L- grilled cheese on whole grain dunked in tomato soup
S- apple
D- homemade chili with cheese on top and a dollop of sour cream
Got the munchies later on and had some marshmallows....weird I know. But, it killed the sweet tooth
Getting released from shoulder injury next week and hope to be exercising. But, truth be told, I HATE EXERCISE.
I never thought of it as a food rut. I never bore eating the same thing every day but I feel it probably bores other posters. Even when I was heavy I basically ate the same thing every day. It works for me.
We eat out at least every Friday with our DD's. I usually order an appetizer as my meal or from the kids menu if they allows.
I had a handful of mini marshmallows last night too.
I'm not seeing much protein (especially good Protein).......
I'm not an exerciser either and I made the decision from the very beginning not to do it. I've noticed that the posters who did it at the beginning and then gave it up when they lost a lot of their weight struggle to keep it off.

hahaha....I did my taxes last weekend but trying to find time to review them before I push the submit button. My desk is a MESS!
Not sure what White Russians are but pretty sure I'll never have one.
Menu looks short today but looks a decent Protein day.

lol A White Russian involves vodka, cream, coffee liqueur, ice and shaking. Sort of like a protein coffee without the protein and heat.
