WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Breakfast:

Protein:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:     Baby Bell Lite Cheese

Lunch:     Fish (no bun)

Protein:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:     Laughing Cow Lite Swiss Cheese, 6 saltines

Dinner:    Ground Hamburger and Green Beans

Snack:     3 TB's Popcorn with a little salt and oil

Good morning!

l 2 slices bacon hard boiled egg and a handful of yellow cherry tomatoes

s 2 oz oven roasted chicken breast, light colby cheese stick and a joseph's bakery pita

d  6oz Cabernet Olive Garden salad, bread stick, 2 small stuffed mushroom caps, 3 bites chicken piccata and a slice of zucchini with Parmesan cheese

Trying to stay at 1300 or less, but 1504 calories, 109 grams of protein. Well I guess it could be worse for a celebration

fluids 68 oz

miles 5.25 miles on the treadmill this morning, 15,245 steps per pedometer total today

Meeting this afternoon so no muscle pump.  Shoveling will have to count as my exercise.  I did get my car out so I am mobile again at least.

That would be horrible to be stuck in the house even if you didn't have some place to go.  Glad you got your car out. Do you shovel up after your horses?

I do muck out the barn 2x a day everyday, snow, rain, sun.  But the horses were in a lot more during the snow and there was a lot more to shovel.  I clean up the areas outside where I feed them but not the whole 5 acres.  It's enough to stay busy.

No practice tonight.  I have lots I need to do at home.  I may be missing until next Monday.  Starting tomorrow it is going to be non stop crazy!!
