WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
I've had such a short week with DH getting a procedure done and then my brother-in-law passing that it's hard for to believe it's Friday.
Who's getting hit with the major snow storm? It looks like we are going to be missed and some of our southern friends are going to be hit hard.
Same menu as yesterday. Not sure what's for dinner tonight.

We are certainly getting hit. Probably about 8" now and it will continue until tomorrow morning so we will add a few. But then it warms some so hopefully it won't last forever.
The survey was terrific. He was highly complimentary of my records and policies. I had 2 recommendations which is almost unheard of. So today will be a sit inside, drink hot tea and knit day. All the paperwork is caught up and with the snow, sure can't play with the ponies.

Congrats on your Survey!!!!! Does it get done every year or won't it happen for awhile?
How much snow do you normally get? It's all so strange because I can see grass today.
Sounds like a low carb day for you!!!!

Hi Roz,
They said we might get a little snow - it won't stick though. The wind is supposed to be really bad here tomorrow. I hope I can stay in most of the day.
I missed yesterday. Had to go in to work, 2 cakes to do and play practice. I finally finished and got in the bed around 1 this morning. I sat down this afternoon when I got home and fell sound asleep for like 2 hours.

I'm glad you got missed with the snow!! We have nice clear roads and I can even see grass...YEAH!!! As happy as that makes me I'd rather have it because we are used to it rather than the states that are devastated by it.
DGS Paw Patrol cake was soooo cute! I wi**** would have had little bones on it like the one you made though. I should have sent her a picture.
It looks like a good Protein day!!!

Saturday morning: We are definitely getting hit! Just cleared off and filled the bird feeders...they should be good for 5 minutes. Drifts are 2 feet but I think there is at least a foot or so out there. Starting to get even more windy and the snow's still coming down.

I haven't measured here but will this morning. I just know that I have shoveled the path to the barn 2x and this morning it is basically gone again. Glad you can stay in. Seems the storm was picking up additional moisture as it when up the coast.

We ended up with 30 inches. Hubby shoveled for 4 hours this morning. We haven't had any snow removal trucks come down our street yet. I think the cop next door walked out to the main road and got picked-up to go to work.

I hope you aren't having trouble getting around. At least you don't have to drive to work. How much snow do you usually get? DH is going to fill our feeders today. We can see grass here which is strange for our neck of the woods.
Sounds Good!!!!
