Did you start your new job?  Did you get an offer for the other one you mentioned?

I haven't started officially yet...waiting on security clearance to go through.  I got the higher graded job that was offered, there's still a job I haven't heard anything back on. That one requires an even higher security level, so I'm not sure what's happening with that one.
Anyway, the job I'm supposed to start should be in about a month or a little less, depending on how long it take to process the security clearance. They've given me a couple of projects to play with, so I'm not totally bored.

Are you working on projects at home or in the office?

It's been taking forever for security clearances to go through for our Providers and ours are probably a million grades under yours.

How far do you have to drive?  My niece lives in Hanover, PA and drives for hours to get to work but she said the cost of living is so much lower in PA that it's worth it.

I'm working from home until the job starts and then it will be about 27 miles from the house. I hope my clearance goes through quickly, it's a renewal.

I'm guessing 27 miles will take a lot longer where you live because of the traffic. 

Our renewals did come through quicker than our new applicants.

I'll be carpooling and I'm guessing around 45 minutes or so. This will be a big change for my mornings.
