WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Afternoon LW's!!!!!  I slept most of yesterday away.  We watched 2 of our DGSons after church and of course they couldn't nap at the same time....LOL.  The 9 month old slept for hours and since I'm not allowed to lift him yet because he is over 15 pounds (and terrified he would fall of our high bed) I took the opportunity to lay beside him and cuddle.  Within 15 minutes after he woke up the 3 year old decided it was his turn to cuddle with Grandma...LOL.  I actually had trouble getting to sleep last night so I got on OH for awhile and read some posts (Thanks for starting M&M Price) then took a Tylenol PM which worked wonders.

The pain isn't as bad today and my scale stayed the same.  Still 2 pounds under my comfort range.

Im sure you needed that rest, Roz.  You really have not rested as much as you should have after surgery.  Hopefully you will have a good week.

It's just bitter here today, cold and wind.  Only going out to do the ponies then I hurry.  Actually, I am going to muscle pump in a little while but it is in a toasty gym.  My scale was down this morning, 134 which I am much happier with than the 136 yesterday.  Just proof that even if you slip up, keep on keeping on will get you back.  Now to get that 5 off before the wedding.  That should be doable, it isn't until June.
