WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW's!!! I am exhausted today!! So glad this is going to be a short work week. We only work 1/2 day tomorrow and have Friday off.
I have to go buy pork and sauerkraut for our New Years Eve get together. Every year I over do it and have way to many left overs.

Rain, rain, rain. on already saturated ground. At least it isn't snow.
I've been getting more paperwork done, however. I guess that is a good thing.

lemon tea protein 13g
last night's leftovers, fish and broccoli
Caribbean cooler protein 13g
pork, sweet potato

In the south we have pork and blackeyed peas and greens. I am not real fond of black eyed peas so I am cooking black beans and ham in the crock pot tomorrow. Then I will have the leftovers for soup or Mexican food.

It's just been drizzling here. It's just cold enough it makes it miserable to go out. I've been cooking my pork and sauerkraut all night long. I only wor****il 1:30 today and then I have to put the hot dogs in the kruat so they are nice and tender. We will eat as the ball drops tonight.
Your menu sounds Yummy!

Hi Roz,
Yucky rain here again today. I took DD and DGD#2 shopping today to return some things and pick out something else. Then I had a cake to do for a retirement party tomorrow, it didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to, but oh well...it is a free one so I'm going to try and not stress out about it.
I have to work tomorrow at the library here and then at home. DGD#2 may come and spend the night with us tomorrow night. My sister in law and brother in law cook for New Years. DH does the greens so I'm off for this holiday!

I keep thinking it's time to turn the pork and sauerkraut over to one of the girls but I'm betting our family tradition that our Dad passed down to us will fade away. I don't think any of them are fond of it.
It looks like you are getting your Protein in...YEAH! How did you do while baking your cake?
Have a nice New Year's Eve!

My sister in law and I don't know what is going to happen when we give up our cooking duties to my daughter and her daughter - neither of them cook much. My daughter in law is an excellent cook maybe she will take over! They both laugh and say they will just order it from somewhere!
I had a few cake crumbs but not too much so that was pretty good.
