WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW's!!! This is my first day back to work since my emergency bowel obstruction and although I'm tired and my swelled tummy hurts some from sitting at my desk all day it feels great to be back!!! I can't wait to get home and put baggy sweat pants on though. This is a good week to start back because it's normally slow plus a short week.
Tonight is DGD#4's 8th Birthday. I know my DD has a lot of snacks planned so I've got to get myself prepared to behave. My scale is looking great and I want to keep it there!!!

Hi Roz,
Happy Birthday to your DGD#4!
Work day today and DGD#2 came to our house this morning around 6:15am. DD had her tube tied today. My DIL called and told me that DGS has pneumonia and they are giving him some medicine for it and hope that clears it up. She is going to be at home with him the rest of the week.

Our DGS have been sick too. Breathing hard and low grade fevers. DD took the baby to the ER one night last week and they ruled out strep and pneumonia which made her happy. I think his fever finally broke on Saturday.
Sounds like an awesome Protein day!!

You take it easy Roz. No heroics, please.
It was rainy here all day plus we are suppose to get another 3 inches over the next 2 days. The area is already flooded but when I start feeling bad about it, I think about all those with tornados and just rain isn't so bad.

The only major problem I'm having is coughing and wheezing. Nothing seems to be helping. Dr. took x-rays and everything looked good. He's given me an inhaler and 2 breathing treatments. He is calling in another cough syrup today. It was keeping me up at night but now it's more when I talk and answer the phone at wor****ep losing my wind.
Sounds like an Awesome Menu Price!!!
