WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning LW's!! I hope you all had an Awesome Christmas! Ours started early so we could fit everything in. This morning I'm off to buy wrapping paper and boxes for next year. Later today we are going to see the Harlem Globetrotters with DD#3's family. Our Grandson's are pumped!

(Sunday) We woke up to 60 this morning. DH was blown away and rushing for the TV to hear the weather. We've only had light rain so far. I hope he gets one more good day on riding the hills on his golfcart and the kids playing on the dirt pile.
Did anyone get hurt in the flooding?
Sounds Good! With NY's next week I'm hoping we pick up on here.

I haven't heard of anyone hurt and other than rain and now this crazy warm, we haven't had the tornados, etc that other areas have. We seldom do have those, thank goodness. When it floods here, it is mainly the area around the rivers that come over their banks into the fields and pastures. The cows just move to higher ground. Campgrounds flood and some low areas but mostly here folks are pretty good about building on higher ground. The roads that I drive on at the Biltmore Estate are all closed, not the Estate but any riding or driving closed until the 3rd.
If you ever get down here I will be more than happy to take you on a carriage ride!!!
