Hello, now that I amped up my eating, (duh), the weight loss is s-l-o-w. I'm not sure what I want as my goal weight. At 150, I am wearing size 4-6 jeans and size s/m shirts. I do have back fat under the hanging skin. At my advanced age of 58, my wrinkles are medium, I have not "aged" since the surgery. If I lose more weight, I will probably look 10 years older. I want to lose an additional 10-15 pounds while in the honeymoon period for a cushion. So, all this back/forth on whether to stay or lose, I am not serious about portion sizes. Therefore, I will post my weekly weight to be accountable and perhaps lose 10-15 more pounds.
Roz & Price, you ladies rock!

I was 62 when I had surgery so I understand. Our skin isn't as elastic as it was in our 30-40s. I was too low at 111 and about right in the 120s but the 130s crept in. Regain is real. Basic knowledge is to go as low as you can and come back to where you want to be instead of stopping then hanging on by your fingernails. Wish there was a magic answer. but good for you losing during the holidays. that is a bonus no matter what.

I'm a little upset with how I have done over the holidays, but I am getting back in gear.
My lowest was 135.5
This morning I was at 138.8
I know why I have some gains, whether it is fat or water weight, I know what I need to do to see changes. I have slipped on sweets mainly but time to cut that out. Esp since I don't feel good after sweets anyways. I think I need to throw my body back into ketosis.

Have stopped losing pounds but am losing inches!
Don't be too upset, just get back on the wagon. I know how easy it is to slip and the scale goes up much easier than it goes down. And it takes so little to sustain us these days when we get tiny that seemingly little slips drive the scale up. I for one am happy to be past the holiday but yesterday was our anniversary and we will go out to eat tonight and out Friday with friends so my plan for the week has to include those.
