WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Morning LW's!!   Going to be in the High 60's today....To bad I'm going to be in the office all day.  DD took 13 teams to the competition and got 10 Firsts and 3 Seconds. I did numerous steps at the competition on Saturday and my legs were really sore when I woke up on Sunday.  I'm glad it eased up as the day went on because our newest Grandson got dedicated at church and then I worked on my flower beds and got everything trimmed up for the cold winter months.  There's a few things I didn't trim because I want DH to rip them out.  They just didn't do well in our soil/weather.

Maintenance 7+ years

Breakfast:

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:   Babybell Cheese

Lunch:   Ham Slice

Snack:   Salmon Cake

Snack:   Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack:   Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)

Dinner:  Roast

Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Plain Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

I don't think we were any warmer than that!!  Meetings today but headed to muscle pump tonight.

Monday was my last day as a gov't contractor but should be starting with the gov't soon. This may be a good time for some Spring/Fall cleaning and decluttering.

BITES: (DS Maintenance Mode)

Pre-B - protein coffee w/1/2 & 1/2 (30g)

So you decided on what job to take?  I definitely need to declutter.....!!!  I couldn't even close my closet door this morning from shoes falling out of it.  I buy the same type of shoes for work each fall and I think I now have 3 yrs.l worth piled up.  Yr. #1 is going to the garbage bin and the last years is going to the Good Will.  Now that I made the decision I have to force myself to do it.

Did you see they are advertising that Honey Nut Cheerios are now Gluten Free.  I would love to have a bowl of them but I know I can't stop at just 1 bowl so I'm going to keep walking past them at the grocery store.
