WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Missed you all yesterday!! We had to sit through 8 hours of training. If there wouldn't have been so much swearing coming out of the Professors mouth I would have enjoyed it a lot more. I know I am a lot older than most of my co-workers but I didn't think it was appropriate for the subjects we were discussing "children's safety and futures".

Hi Roz,
I am back home. My trip was a success and we got lots of things sorted and lots and lots of things given away and burned. They are both so pleased with how much we got done. Got their Christmas tree put up and decorated. She was so excited that I had enough time to do that. Time well spent!! DH stayed home and I went by myself. I don't get to spend a lot of time with them just by myself and we really enjoyed the days we had.

That's sooooo Wonderful Linda!! I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with them. I'm so glad they have each other!!
We've been debating if we should bring Mom home for Thanksgiving. Sometimes she fights us when we put her in the elevator just to go for a ride around the building. We don't even know if she will let us put her in the car. And then we worry if the commotion will confuse her more.
Sounds Yummy!

Hi guys,
Well, today wasn't so good. Too many leftovers in the house and not enough work to keep me busy.
Roz, bad language isn't one of those things I'm looking forward to when I go back to work at HQ. I remember when I first went to work there how surprised I was women talked like the men. Down home in the South, that just didn't happen very often, especially in an office environment.

I'm so happy no one talks like that at my work. I think I would have to leave and look for something else.
Your menu doesn't look to bad for having a lot of leftovers.
