WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Over the Hump Day!! High 70's again today but by the time I get out of work it's almost dark and cooling down. Same menu as yesterday except I'm not sure what Dinner will be because I'm on my own this evening.

HOME!!! I am happy to be home after being at a conference since Sunday afternoon. Happy to see my kitties, ponies and donkeys (and DH). And happy to not be eating out anymore!!!

decaf protein coffee 23g
oatmeal, dried fruit
catfish, broccoli, greens
eye of round roast
pork chop, ???
protein shake 23g

I tried to eat reasonably but darn, it is hard when you are eating out 3x a day. I ate lots of protein but didn't get my protein drinks 2x a day like I usually do. I hate to step on the scale tomorrow morning.

Hi Roz, I wanted to tell you that your statement of No CARBS, bad carbs, they slow your weight loss and make you gain during maintAnace was a helpful wake up call for me. I've been snacking on crackers. Couldn't find the will power to stop. About 1 cup cheeze its daily. YOU, You, you helped me stop!! I screen shot your statement and I'm looking at it every day! Thank you for the help!!
