Menus and Miles Tuesday Nov. 3

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!! Getting way to much sleep at our house with DH being away. DGKids go to bed at 9 and don't get up until 7. DD tells me I can turn the TV on in the bedroom but I just can't bring myself to do it. The 7 yr. old was yawning and said she was tired this morning. I'm thinking no way can you be tired it has to be from no exercise during that 10 hour sleep fest.

Maintenance 7+ years

Breakfast:

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack: Laughing Cow Lite Cheese wedge and 6 Saltines

Lunch: Scrambled Eggs, Tuna, Noodle Casserole

Snack:

Snack: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)

Dinner:

Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Plain Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

The weather is SO beautiful is Southern NJ today! Unfortunately, the left over Halloween candy sitting on my desk has been calling me. Will I answer? Stay tuned.

B-ricotta cheese, granola, baked apple

I hope you did better than I did with the Halloween Candy! I always buy chips and fruit drinks because I don't have a problem with them but DD and kids are staying at our house this week and there is candy everywhere....!!

Hi Roz,

I know you are enjoying spending time with them. I love the trip my DD and I take each summer to my parents.

It was finally a pretty day here again. No rain.

B: Protein Decaf Coffee

L: Protein-Ham,Spare Rib, Part of Chicken Leg, BBQ Pork - I went to Ryan's with DH and got the buffet so I had bites of all the protein they had.
S: Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D: 1/2 Chicken Breast, Lettuce-Low Carb Taco Salad Dip

Vitamins: Done
Water/Fluids: 90 ozs
Miles: Walked 3 miles - I jogged a couple of laps in our neighborhood - I feel so much better when I get out and do this!

I am enjoying them but tonight I get an evening to myself...YEAH! I'm going to grab some KFC or something and spend the evening watching some TV shows I have recorded. Tomorrow eve (Thurs.) I have 4 of them so I'm going to take advantage of this evening.

I probably waste a lot of money going to a buffet but I prefer that over ordering something from a menu.

MILES:
3 - 15 minute walks, 30 leaning push-ups, 30 squats and stretches

Had my 3 month check up yesterday. It went great. I am doing extremely well and over my stall apparently.

My starting weight was 235 I am now 184. WHEW in 3 months...I have 44 more lbs to get to goal!!! So excited and also feel silly for worrying so much. In an effort to keep focused and motivated I will be posting more often. The menus help and make me accountable.

B: Premier Protein shake

L: Wendy's small chili

S: Light and fit Caramel Apple Pie Greek Yogurt

D: 4oz rotisserie chicken and 1/4 cup of baby brussel sprouts
