WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!! Swamped with billing today.....I love this week!!! It's very tiring but I love being busy. We are going to have Indian Summer in the 70's the next 3 days....YEAH!!

Maintenance 7+ years

Breakfast:

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack: Laughing Cow Lite Cheese wedge and 6 Saltines

Lunch: No lunch today - getting off early to watch boys

Snack: 1 Baby Bell Cheese

Snack: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)

Dinner: DH isn't home so our favorite! Scrambled Eggs, Tuna, and Noodles...YUM!

Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Plain Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

B-baked apple, ricotta cheese, granola

L-salad, chicken, 1 Tbl. mayo, spinach

D-no idea at all

S-Protein shake.

I get days like those and I try to fill up with Protein. Meat usually does the trick.

Hi Roz,

I have not felt good the last two days. Everything seems to upset my stomach. Not sure if I didn't get enough fluids yesterday or enough protein. I'm so glad the rain stopped this afternoon late. Even though it was dark when I got home for meeting I talked DH into going for a quick walk with me. Hoping the fresh air would make me feel better.

Did you figure out what was making you feel yucky?

DH is hunting so DD#1 and kids are staying with me. She is terrified to stay at home even with a whole house alarm system. Any way we had tacos over the weekend and I haven't had them forever and it tasted soooo good.

Do you find that almost every time you buy french fries at Burger King there is at least one onion ring in them?

I don't know what it was. I feel much better today. It must have been a little bug of some type.

I used to be so afraid to stay by myself. I would make the kids sleep with me when DH was working. It does not even bother me anymore...

I had tacos the other week and they were really good. I saw a recipe for some single serving low carb bread. I'm thinking about making it. Sometimes I just would like to eat a sandwich but bread and I don't get along very well. I can do 1/2 of the low carb wrap but not much more.

I would usually rather have onion rings than fries but I do remember always having onion rings in the fries I used to get. DH likes onion rings too so he usually gets those too.

I haven't noticed you eating Nut thins for awhile. I thought about buying some but I know I couldn't control myself if I liked them.
