WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

I'm super excited that it's November!! Thanksgiving is my holiday to cook and I love having my entire family over. My brother is planning on trying to bring Mom if she will willing get in the car. She is so use to the Nursing Home now that she doesn't even want to get on the elevator to take a stroll outside. We are going on a Disney Cruise a few days after Thanksgiving and then Christmas shopping will begin (unless it's sooner..lol).
Halloween was fun. Our gobblins got a ton of candy which I had trouble staying out of! I've already had breakfast but DSIL invited me to go to Brunch with them. I live about 45 minutes away from them and It will be lunch time by then and I'm hoping I can just order something from the menu. Then off to the mall to return a few things and check out the petite rack. I know it sounds like I'm having fun without DH...lol but this will get old really fast and I will be wishing he was home.

Maintenance 7+ years

Breakfast: Scrambled Egg, Egg Beater Whites, Diced Ham and Cheese

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Snack: several bites of candy....

Lunch: eating out with DD#2 and family

Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)

Dinner: Not Sure - DH isn't home

Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Plain Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)
