Menus and Miles Friday Oct. 30th
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
YEAH It's Friday!!! DH left at 4am and I just called him and he's driving through Indiana now. I'll feel better when I know they are in Iowa and off of the roads. He isn't a very good traveler and I feel bad for our SIL....LOL.
I'm not sure what I'm going to eat this week since he isn't home. Hopefully I don't do something dump out of boredom.

I love it when DH is gone, not that I don't love having him here too but cooking for just me is so much simpler. A lot of times, I will cook one thing, like a bunch of chicken leg quarters and eat them every meal.
Helped a friend out at a huge fiber fair this morning. Bought yarn for a could of pairs of sock but the amount of stuff and people was pretty overwhelming. Definitely sensory overload.
decaf protein coffee 33g
oatmeal with blueberries, walnuts
cookie, opps
grilled chicken, salad greens, blueberries
Lemon tea protein 13g
peanut butter on pear slices
burger patty, broccoli
protein shake or hot chocolate 23g

I love it when DH goes away too because I get to do some things that I like to do like read and go with DD's. DH is a very picky eater and will pretty much only go to steak or hamburger places. I know it's going to be bad on my scale but it's a once a year thing. Last night they took to one of those Chinese fire pit restaurants and next week they said they were going to a place called the Melting Pot where you dip the appetizers in chocolate...lol. DH went once and complained the whole time.
DD#1 and 2 DGK's stay with me because SIL went with DH. I'm fine by myself but even though they have a whole house alarm system she is still scared. We have a King size bed so we all slept together. Tons of room but I didn't get much sleep because DGD wanted to sleep really close to me.
Peanut Butter on Pears? Was that good????
You stopped at one cookie!!
Sounds good!

The peanut butter on the pear was ok. I think I like it better on an apple or celery.
It was a big cookie, lol.

Hour DGKids couldn't wait for their Halloween party at school. It's nice having them in the same room because they get to enjoy it together.
Sounds like your Menu is still on track! The weather is cooling here so I've been drinking a lot of Vanilla Tea. I've found it really calms my IC too. Less cramping in my bladder.
I bought bags of chips and juice bags to hand out because I can't control myself with left over candy.
Sounds Good!

I just copied what I wrote on Price's post: DD#1 and 2 DGK's stay with me because SIL went with DH. I'm fine by myself but even though they have a whole house alarm system she is still scared. We have a King size bed so we all slept together. Tons of room but I didn't get much sleep because DGD wanted to sleep really close to me.
