WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW's!!! I did great all day and then blew it big time last night! On the way down to our DGD's Chorus Performances we stopped at Sheetz and DH got Tator Tots and I had a few they fell into the bottom of the bag, then a cookie at the concert and 1/2 of a double cheeseburger and 4 fries on the way home...... Lesson learned...NEVER go on a road trip with DH on an empty stomach unless I pack some Protein Snacks/drinks!!!

Protein: Matrix Mint Cookie 35g
Snack: a very small piece of Banana Cake a co-worker made
Lunch: Chicken Tenders
Snack: Piece of Cheese
Snack: Matrix Mint Cookie 23g (Probably doubled)
Snack: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free)
Dinner: Hamburger Patty and french green beans
Snack: 3 TB. of unpopped Plain Popcorn (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance

I know the feeling when DH gets something I really used to like I feel I have to try it....
I did good again yesterday, I did the popcorn like you suggested only I probably ate too much of it but that has to be better than some of the other things I was eating!

Miles: Walked 1/2 mile
DH ate the entire little loaf of the bread they brought. He had gained 5 pounds in about 2 months - I told him he was on the way to another 5 by eating all that bread.

I quit using the premade popcorn bags because the added additives upset my IC. I buy the jolly time at Walmart and use a microwave popper. I use 3 TBS. of popcorn, 1 TBS oil, a little salt and a get a huge bowl of popcorn.
How do you do when you are baking cakes? I remember being on WW and wearing a face mask when I made DH's birthday cake...LOL. I can't resist licking the spoon and beaters!!
My DH is a breadaholic!!! I buy frozen loaves at our local bakery and then I bake them when we need it. He thinks he needs it every day and eats almost the whole loaf all by himself. He did loose some weight when he was off work but he's gained it all back since he returned. I think he must eat a lot of snacks when he's working.
I ordered some Snytrax Twisted Cherry this time. If I'm remembering right I really liked it. I'm hoping the flavoring doesn't bother me. The Lemon Tea was really upsetting my bladder (IC) and I wrote the company and they said it has caffeine in it so I had to give it up. I think I have 4 unopened containers of it. They are probably expired now. I should check that out. Gina always has people she donates powder to.

Part of my problem was the cakes so I have to decide if I can do it without tasting or if I want to give it up if I can't control my eating and licking the bowls... I am working on it. I never thought of wearing a mask-lol!
I did not like the Twisted Cherry. I have a lot of chocolate kinds of the Syntrax but I use the Lemon Tea and Cappuccino every month. I just order it monthly.
