WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
OK...so I had to finally put away the shorts and capris and got out my dress pants. This is the fifth year for my dress pants. They still look really good (I get them dry cleaned) but they do feel a little tighter than I remember from last season. I am up a couple pounds on the scale but it didn't bother me wearing relaxed fitting summer clothes but those couple of pounds have to go now!!!

5 yrs in the same clothes is amazing. I went up a size this summer in some things, others are still good. I just can't stand too tight clothes. Little things, like my arms are bigger. My body scan says it is muscle but all I know is that some sleeves are too tight now and I'm not comfortable in them.
decaf protein coffee 33g
eggbeaters, cheese, kale
lemon tea protein, hot 13g
brocalli soup (leftover broccoli, greek yogurt, cheese)
protein hot chocolate 23g
chicken, artichokes, a few oven fries
too many chocolate covered almonds, ugh.

I buy new tops all of the time and at the end of summer I buy shorts and capris for the next summer but as long as I keep my weight down and take care of my dress pants I don't plan on buying new ones. Keeping that in mind really helps me when it comes to keeping an eye on the scale.
It's about time here for some Protein hot chocolate. You probably aren't use to the cold like we are up north. The snow has to be flying before I want to drink it.
Sounds good even the chocolate almonds...

My scales were really down this morning. I'm thinking at least some of the gain was from all of the salt in the Bean and Ham soup I made. BUT...I really do need to decarb!
DH loves corn bread....
Sounds Good Gina!!
