Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
WOW...what a fun day yesterday with our family. My DH's company picnic was had it at an amusement park in Pittsburgh. It rained most of the day and there was about 2 hours that we didn't need a jacket or a rain coat but no one seemed to mind. We didn't stay until closing because the little ones were pretty cold by then.
I did eat a few fries and 1 very small bite of a fried oreo cookie which is something I wouldn't even want to eat the second bite....thank goodness..haha. The rest of the day I stuck with protein.

You must be feeling better. So glad. What a fun company picnic idea. I may have to try something like that although there aren't any amusement parks we do have a nature center.
Drove Teke but waited until about noon because it has been cool here. I don't think it made it to 70 all day and a breeze but it was delightful for both of us. I love the cool and no bugs. It won't last but I'm enjoying it. Nice to be in jeans and a sweatshirt.
decaf protein coffee 33g
scrambled eggs
chicken salad, 2 crackers, patio tomatoes (that is all that is left)
Caribbean cooler protein 13g
potato soup from the freezer
protein shake or hot chocolate?

I am feeling so much better! I figured after being in the rain most of Sat. that we would all get colds but I think so far everyone's healthy.
Although it feels great outside today with a nice breeze I am dreading putting my shorts away. I dug out a pair of capris for work today but won't give up my sandals yet...lol.
Sounds Yummy Price! I need to get busy making some soups to put in the freezer. I have to buy some new containers because mine were looking kind of crappy at the end of last year.
I didn't get even 1 good tomato this year and we only had corn on the cob a couple times. I feel bad for the farmers around here because nothing grew.
