Last week 189.2

this week 185.6

Im 18 days post op. Loss has slowed down over the last couple of days. I'm struggling to get the protein and liquids but I'm pressing on. I will do this!

In the beginning, you have to lose all the fluid they pump in you so that accounts for some of the early loss.  Remember not to look at pounds lost but at % of excess weight.  So don't be disappointed with your loss if you are comparing yourself with our heavier friends who are going to lose bunches more in terms of # that we will.  But we have so much less, total than they do.  4 lbs in a week is amazing.  You are doing great.

Everyone has problems with the protein and fluid, just keep on keeping on, you will get it!!!

Thanks for the encouragement. I get impatient but I'm happy with my progress. I was 199 the morning of surgery. My husband says he can see the loss but I can only feel it. I start back to work tomorrow.

Last week: 151

This week: 148.2

Super happy about this loss. Yesterday I did a 5k with my sister. I would have jogged it anyways but she asked me to walk with her. I completed the whole thing but she didn't. I did run a little but by that point there were so many walkers. But I had a blast.

Little NSV I had originally ordered a medium shirt but it was way too big. Luckily the 5k was a local thing and I was able to exchange it for a SMALL! Then I went to goodwill and bought a pair of size 10 jeans :)

Good going!!

At 8 weeks, we were still on 6-8 meals a day between mini meals and protein suppliments.  In fact, DH said the reason I had surgery was so I could eat all the time.  Of course, meals were 1/4-1/2 c so it didn't add up to much, lol.

Yep, I do 6 small meals :) I think TOM is the culprit, and he is whispering in my ear that 1oz of pistachios is not enough, or that I'd rather be eating carbs instead of greek yogurt. He lies!

p.s. I'm 4'11" too! Small sisters unite!
