Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Called in sick today. My Sinus headache took over my sleep time last night.

Hmmmm.. I haven't had tuna for awhile. I'll have to grab a can this weekend. I use to eat the Swanson canned chicken but just thinking about it makes my stomach queasy. I don't know why because I always liked it.
Looks like you started your day out strong...hope it finished on a high note!

Roz, hope you're feeling better. Since my sinus surgery in February I've had no more sinus problems so I guess a month of misery recuperating was worth it.
I'm really liking my job. The people here are great and the 2 attorneys I support are so nice.
There was luncheon today for one of the gals that's getting married. Since I'm new I wasn't asked to bring anything. There was all kinds of foods and I ate way less than most, but I was still miserable for about 2 hours afterwards. I really need to work on the eating at a potluck. At home I don't overeat so why do I do it when I'm out? I'm not tied to the desk here so that's good. I've used the stairs twice today instead of the elevator. I only bring healthy foods with me.
Today's Eats:
Oatmeal w/craisens & walnuts
Protein bar
Potluck.....chicken salad, few Fritos :(, BBQ sausages (3), dip
Dinner may be a shake. I'm still not hungry.

I'm glad you like your job. I'm very fortunate I love my job and it's going to get better because my Manager is retiring at the end of the month and I can finally do things a little differently than she does. I like to be neat and organized and she is the complete opposite. Even when she sends out letters she doesn't care if things are lined up or capital letters. It drives me crazy!!!
I'm pretty good with pot lucks. I try to strictly eat protein but I know that's sometimes hard to do. If I do good I usually let myself have a couple of tsp. bites of dessert (because I can't decide on one....LOL).
You probably did better than you think!
