Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
I must have enjoyed Labor Day Weekend a little too much because my scales are definitely up today and 2 pounds over my comfort range......

Well, my scale was up half a lb after the holiday weekend.... but I'm still on track. I need to get rid of those carb cravings! Today I was going to just do protein shakes.... but I didn't have my carbmaster milk from Kroger (They were out!), so I made it with water. YUCK! That was hard to choke down! No way I can do that for lunch, so I went out to Wendy's and got half an Asian Cashew Chicken Salad with extra grilled chicken. (This is delicious!!)

Hello to all!! I'm on the job and learning new things daily. Right now, it's almost time to go home and too late to start something new.
My tummy and my taste buds are giving me fits. Yesterday I made a Click shake that I usually love and it tasted just awful. I checked the almond milk to be sure it wasn't expired and it wasn't. Last night I had meat loaf prepared in the pressure cooker. It was cooked on a rack so it wasn't cooking in any fat but it gave me such indigestion. Today I made a shake with Syntrax lemonade and some blueberries and it was okay but tasted different that usual. I've been having a lot of acid reflux lately.
Today's eats:
Protein shake
Oatmeal
Lean Cuisine; Greek yogurt
Not sure what dinner will be. Taking my GD to her singing lesson so will eat after that. It won't be meat loaf.
Protein shake
Roz, I got a box of your NV Almond Crunch Bars. Very good but the wrapper says may contain soy. Ugh. I can only eat one now and then. Soy gives me a rash on my jawline and dries out the skin around my eyes.

Working on a cake for this weekend. I just love doing these cakes. I am going to try and make cake pops out of the extra cake this time so it won't just sit around on my counter until it is gone. I can take them somewhere and give them away!!
