Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Morning! Sooooo Slow at work this morning. One day it's crazy and the next it is super boring. Going out on my lunch to do a few errands and to grab some Wendy's Chili....YUM!

I pretty much eat the same things during the work day and then dinner is based around what DH wants. It makes life simplier.
Sounds Good!

Hi Roz,
I saw on Facebook where someone stole Jen's van. Hope they find it! Someone tried to break into my daughter & Son in law's vehicles last night at their house. My SIL went outside with his shotgun-thank goodness they had run away...
We had to take Willie to the Vet today the bites he got Sunday had gotten infected even though we had been treating them. Now he is on an antibiotic and pain pills.

How's Willie doing? Isn't it funny they both had van problems? The insurance released it today (the 2nd) to be towed to a repair shop in our home town. The first thing they have to do is clean it up inside.
Sounds Good!

I'm baaack. Last week I worked a job where I have no access to the Internet except on my Kindle. Answering the phone is my only thing to do. Nice office and friendly people, but I do get tired of reading. I worked Monday but have no assignment so far this week. Thursday I have an interview with an attorney. My BFF recommended me to her plus her husband is a partner at the firm where I retired and he knows my work ethics. It will be part time and I'm so hoping it works out.
Roz, you must be Wendy's best chili customer. I like it too.
According to my scale, I have lost 7 lbs. I'm still not exercising but really watching my eating. If I'm not careful, I will snack too much.
Today's eats:
B: Protein shake
L: Deli roast bee w/cheese slice
S: Greek yogurt
D: Pulled pork; salad
S: Fresh peach
