Which U.S. Surgeons do VSG on someone with 32 BMI???
That's a great question and I wish I knew. I know the standard BMI is lower in Mex and Brazil but I don't know about the US for self-pay. Will you talk about your comorbidities when you start to talk to surgeons? I'm thinking they would feel more comfortable doing a VSG on someone at 32 BMI if they know you have something like sleep apneia, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, or something weight related. Please keep us posted on what you find out.
