Post a day late. I don't usually answer until the next day. Gina always posts in the middle of the night when she gets up and the rest of are sleeping.
Sounds Good!

In the early months I couldn't stand real coffee but I loved Syntrax Cappuccino protein shake heated. I would mix a shake and nuke it for a minute and few seconds so the protein wouldn't clump.
Here are my Protein Coffee directions and recipe.
brew a pot of your favorite reduced caffeine coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)
In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 3 oz of milk or 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz of cool water, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with hot coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy!
Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping.
Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

We all have slight variations on our protein coffee. I brew a 5 c pot of decaf. Then I mix about 1.5scoops of protein powder into about 2/3 c warm water. Just with a spoon. I use that to "cream" my coffee. I use Syntrax either naturals or matrix or now they have a new one "shake" I order them from Lucky Vitamin because they have the best price I have found and free shipping if you order over 40 or$50. With the Lemon Tea or Caribbean Cooler, because I am 5 yrs out and can eat more, I just do a half scoop 2x a day (with a tube of generic crystal light).

I use the Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino Protein and mix it with Hood Calorie Count Down Low Carb Milk(Lots use almond milk or other things like that) before pouring it in my decaf coffee. You can get it a lot of different places. I order from Bariatric Choice.
Like Gina said don't pour the protein into something hot unless you have mixed it to a cooler liquid or it will clump up and is gross.
