Menus and Miles Wed. August 12th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!
Afternoon LW'S! My scales were down this morning.....YEAH !! I'm going to keep concentrating on Protein.

Hi Roz,
I just don't know where the days go anymore. I was going to clean house today, but it didn't get done. DGD#2 and I did read two books and wrote a book report. Her school starts Friday and she was suppose to read 10 books and write 4-5 reports. Of course she didn't start until she came to my house to stay during the day.... We have one more book to read tomorrow. She is going into the first grade. I was not reading before I went to first grade, of course we didn't have kindergarten or anything like that.

I didn't go to kindergarden either but my DD certainly wasn't reading and writing book reports before the first grade. That is amazing.

I think all of our grandkids could read before Kindergarten. I know my girls couldn't Our schools aren't starting until after Labor day because the vote to close 5 schools and merge happened so late in the school year.
I really like cube steaks but DH doesn't I should buy some for myself.
I'm not sure I could even do low carb. Carbs really make me crave more and the roll around my belly always gets bigger...

I feel like all I have done since I have been home is run. At least I got to the grocery today and that should help with my eating. I drove Teke this morning, got a haircut, did groceries, some work then muscle pump. Just cleaned out the freezer because the new one is coming tomorrow. Once again, I will promise to keep the new on straight so I don't throw out tons of food that gets hidden in the back and goes bad. Ugh.
decaf protein coffee 33g
2 eggs, sliced tomato
lemon tea protein 13g
egg salad on 1/2 low carb wrap
Caribbean cooler protein 13g
salad with grilled chicken, tomato, beans, spinach, cuke
protein shake 33g
I am determined to get below 130, chipping away at it day by day.

My freezer always starts out organized but it doesn't take long before I can't find things. I did keep the cow we got butchered separated but veggies, potatoes, etc. are all mixed up.
I think you are on the right path!

AWE...that's such a horrible feeling.
I've been having a lot of trouble getting stuck lately too. I actually went and had a scope done a couple of weeks ago but everything turned out good. I've been cutting my dryer foods into smaller pieces and waiting between bites. The last time I went to bed early and by morning it was gone.
