Menus and Miles Friday Aug. 7th

Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

 

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

 

Happy Friday!!!!!!  Looking forward to a relaxing weekend!  House is clean (even the tub), flowers are pruned and DH has all of the grass mowed. Last weekend was a Fun filled weekend but relaxing wasn't part of it. 

 

Maintenance Mode and 6+ years out

Protein:      Matrix Mint Cookie 35g

Breakfast: 

Lunch:        Small Wendy's Chili   

Snack:        Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge and 6 Saltines

Snack:       

Dinner:      Usually go out of Fridays

Snack:        Nature Valley Almond Crunch Bar--YUM!! (ONLY buy the Gluten Free) 

Snack:        3 TB. of unpopped Popcorn   (didn't start this until I was on Maintenance)

B: Ideal Protein Shake

S: cottage cheese 1/2 cup

L: Mason Jar salad with Asian Vinegarette 

S: 1 cup grapes

Dinner: 4oz Steak over salad with balsamic vinegar and Evoo.

 

Did almost a 4 mile walk at lunch and will do either 21 day fix cardio or Zumba.

Hi Roz,

hoping for a quite weekend here.  I have to keep DGS tomorrow morning for a little while then no plans except church Sunday.

Cracker barrel - we never complain when we go out and always tip no matter what. It was different tonight.  Service was horrible, got order wrong refilled DH's water and it tasted like she had poured Clorox in it.  I had salad and steak. Potato tasted like it was from yesterday DH wouldn't eat it. The manager offered DH's free but we paid because we ate it...

4 calcium batches: done
iron: skipping 
evening batch: done
heme iron: done

MILES:
none but standing at the computer working

I seem to be a day late with this all week! I did my Couch 2 5K.

WaWa egg white omlette w/chicken, cheese, veggies

Menchy's frozen yogurt with granola and graham cracker crumbs
