Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD CHOICES during the Honeymoon Period.
I feel I need to repeat this: I am a FIRM believer in Good Whey Protein Drinks!!!!! I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up. It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Hi Roz - I know, I come and go, but am usually on the site if not every day, every other day. Just not posting all the time (reading on my phone - ugh - PITA to post there).
I have a big motorcycle trip coming up this weekend - it's an "all girls motorcycle weekend" I'm part of a riding group called "Stilletos on Steel" and these are other like minded ladies that ride their own motorcycles. We always have a blast when we go out riding. This will be my 2nd overnight trip with them (different ones go to different events). This one is going back up to my old stomping grounds in Traverse City (sigh). Miss it up there.
Eating over the weekend was horrible, I've got it back under control.
Today:
B - coffee x2
L - leftover caulflower casserole (has ham/cheese/mushrooms)
D - leftover roast - probably an open face hot roast beef sandwich
Vits: yes
WAter: need to get moving on it!

Hi Jody....we do miss you when you aren't here! It is just to hard to post on my phone. It's hard for me to see and it doesn't look the same.
That does sound like fun Jody. I'm glad you found a group of friends and doing what you love. Did you retire yet?
I'm worried about your low Protein.

I retired once 4 years ago - now I'm working my 2nd career. I don't see retirement anytime soon unless it's a forced one... too many bills due to updating my house...

Good afternoon everyone! Another thunderstorm this morning but now it's sunny and no quite as humid as yesterday. I took the dogs to be groomed first thing this morning. My girl is almost 15 and has never liked riding in the car. I took the boy in first and when I came back to get Sophie she had pooped in the seat. So, came home and cleaned the seat.
The test run on DH yesterday showed no problems. He was sitting up in a chair this morning so I'm hoping he was able to go to the gym. I'm really down. At least I'm eating my way thru my stress like I used to. Nothing sounds good and when DH is gone I have no desire to cook. I'm really not wanting to go back to work full time, but I may have to just to pay the medical bills. Waa....waaa.waaa....I need to quit whining and appreciate what I have. At least I'm able to work.
Not sure if it was here or another board that someone asked what is protein pudding. I made SF instant pudding using Premier Protein (2 cups). I've made it with cheesecake and chocolate flavors and it's okay, but I probably won't make it again.
Breakfast: Protein pancake
Lunch: 2 cheese sticke; 2 turkey sticks
Snack: Peanut Butter protein shake
Dinner:
I got on the scale and it was up .6. I have not been overeating.

That's good DH seems a little better. You can whine to us all you want!
I asked about the pudding. I use SF cheesecake in a lot of things. It changes the taste of shakes etc. just a little bit.
.6 could be not enough to eat or drink. I don't pay any attention to the points. I only use the pound number.
So you post on another board. How in the world do you have time?

I'm relieved mine is done too!! I go to the dentist next week and I have one tooth that hurts when I bite on it a certain way so I will probably have to go back for that and then that should be the end of my appts. for awhile. I haven't had any trouble with my IC which has been awesome. I keep thinking I should add my Lemon Tea back in but I fear it will rile it up.
I can't imagine anything called Cookie Dough could be low carb....LOL.
Sounds Good!
