Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Afternoon LW's!!  I am starving today!!!   I'm not sure why.

Drove Teke this morning then billing, then errands.  Getting ready to go on vacation is such work, have to get one pony ready to go to the trainer, someone to take care of the ones here, folks to do the garden, whew.  It would be easier to stay home.

Do you go to DD's house?  Once school starts will you go and put her on the bus?

Our school district is a mess right now and they dont open until Sept. 8th.  They closed 5 elementary schools and our DGD will be on the bus for 45 minutes which is about a 15 minute ride by car.  She will probably ride the bus the first few days and then I will probably take her in the morning.  I think in the evening she will ride a different bus to day care which should be about 15 minutes but who knows. The only good thing is all of my DGKids will be in the same school. There's going to be eight 2nd grades (compared to last year with 2) and hopefully they won't get in the same room.

I've never made Fajitas at home but I need to!  I think I have some in the freezer but it isn't something DH would even try.

Sounds Good!

She is teaching in the town we live in this year.  She changed school systems.  So I meet her at the school and bring her to my house for the day.

Her dad will put her on the bus in the mornings in the town where they live.  She goes to the private school here in our town.  She has ridden the bus since she was 3 for about 30 minutes to and from school every day.  She will only have to ride to school this year be because DD will be able to pick her up after school.  She has to be at work too early to take her each day and drop her off.

They changed the schools around here this year too and she is teaching in a school that just has 3rd and 4th grade and they have 600+ students in their school.

It has been fun having her with us during the day.  She is no trouble and likes to play and watch TV.  I guess she will stay with her granddaddy when I go back to work next week...

A lot of our parents are angry about the school changes and quite a few of them have decided to send their children to private schools.  My girls are going to try it this year and see how it goes.

Our 3 yr. old DGS has been coming to play with Pappy almost every day.  My DD said he starts whining to go as soon as he opens his eyes in the morning....LOL.  They all love to come but this little one is Pappy's extra special buddy.
