Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!   Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with GOOD  CHOICES  during the Honeymoon Period.

I feel I need to repeat this:  I am a FIRM believer in Whey Protein Drinks!!!!!  I have IC (Irritable Bladder Syndrome) and I can only have them while I'm not having a flare up.   It is sooooo much harder to do Maintenance without them!

Morning LW's!!! I had a scope down this morning to see if there is a reason I got food stuck 3 times a couple of weeks ago.  Everything turned out Good.  DH says it was the tough meat we bought and he is probably right.  It was really hard to chew it so I probably gave up and just swallowed.

Hope everything is fine.  I hate that stuck feeling.  Only happened once but it is scary.
Busy day here between meeting, vet, need to do groceries and a new freezer.  The old one is running but doesn't seal good and there is ice everywhere.  I use it a lot between the garden and sales so living without one isn't an option.
washed all the dog beds.  Pretty empty around here.

Dr. was very pleased that nothing was wrong  He thinks I probably got 1 piece of tough meat stuck and then other food piled on top of it.

It's relief to know everything's fine and it's up to me to chew and slow down.

Hope you find a freezer you like!

Sounds Good Price!

I'm glad everything turned out okay!  I haven't been posting for a while... I've been in vacation mode and finding it hard to get out of it.  I don't feel I have been eating "bad" and if I were on maintenance it would be okay, but I'm not on maintenance, so I am back on the horse!

Breakfast: Sytrax Matrix Strawberry Shake with Carbmaster Milk & a serving of benefiber.  I also added 3 frozen strawberries because by golly, I need that in the strawberry shake.  It is not my favorite, but I needed something different. 12 carbs, 45 protein

Lunch: 1 can light tuna fish (dry), 1 whole dill pickle. 1 carb, 42 protein

Snack: 1/2 cup Low fat Cottage Cheese. 4 carbs, 13 protein

Dinner:  Not sure... but it will be all protein and no carb

Total so far without dinner... Fat 6.21, Carbs, 17.76, Protein 100.83, Calories 543

Vitamins: Done

Water: On track

Exercise:  I will walk at least 3 miles (that is my goal and last night I walked over 4), I need to do some weight training though and work on my upper body!

Have you ever tried low fat cottage cheese in your shakes instead of milk?  It really thickens it up.

Sounds Good!
